Director/DP
When I started in the business it was very common to move up from a DP to director and in doing so, keep shooting while directing. This became the director/camera or director/dp. The secret of doing two jobs at once is to have a great crew around you. AD, Producer, AC, Gaffer and others that all pitch in to do a Great job! Its also working as a big team with the agency and client to achieve the goal.

Director
being a director does not come easy, the truth is after being on sets as a DP and watching other directors, looking through the lenses and watching the talent, products, movements, is an acquired trait. Talent hitting marks, camera in focus and moving to your marks, props, lighting, sets, makeup, effects on set, the list goes on, its all part of the process that has to be in your mind.

Director of Photography
As a DP I think of lighting, lenses, camera placement, depth of field and depth of focus, the proper camera that fit the production, camera movement and working closely with the director.

Photography
As a photographer, I work as a director and photographer with people, autos, tabletop, food, products, beverages on location and in the studio.

Fine Art Photography
is something I like to create for fun but is also used for commercial and advertising. Click on the photo and view my portfolio of fine art
